Moxifloxacin Side Effects Report #6043072-3
Moxifloxacin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 10, 2009. Male patient, 52 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia aspiration and was treated with Moxifloxacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , clostridium difficile toxin test positive, diarrhoea, hypotension, pseudomembranous colitis, pyrexia, respiratory distress. Moxifloxacin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SEVELAMER, ASPIRIN, CALCIUM ACETATE, NIFEDIPINE, METOPROLOL TARTRATE, LISINOPRIL, FERROUS SULPHATE. Patient died.
