Montelukast side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 14, 2009. Female patient, child 2 years of age, weighting 32.00 lb, was diagnosed with asthma  and was treated with Montelukast. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: affective disorder, agitation, anxiety , depression , insomnia, mental disorder, nightmare, self esteem decreased. Montelukast dosage: 4MG 1X/DAY PO. During the same period patient was treated with SINGULAIR. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 14 years of age, weighting 98.00 lb, was diagnosed with asthma  and was treated with Montelukast. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, aggression, anger, decreased interest, depression , mood altered, pain . Montelukast dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.
