Montelukast side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Sept 26, 2006. Female patient, 41 years of age, weighting 280.0 lb, was diagnosed with rhinitis allergic and was treated with Montelukast. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute prerenal failure, hepatitis cholestatic, nephrolithiasis, thrombocytopenia, urinary tract infection What is  urinary tract infection, white blood cell count increased. Montelukast dosage: 10 MG QHS PO. During the same period patient was treated with LORATADINE, FLUTICASONE PROPIONATE, TRIAMTERENE AND HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
