Moduretic Side Effects Report #5891413-X
Moduretic side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Sept 10, 2008. Male patient, 93 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension, benign prostatic hyperplasia, insomnia, rhinitis allergic, bronchitis  and was treated with Moduretic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cholestasis, lung disorder, renal failure. Moduretic dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with XATRAL, PERMIXON, OMEPRAZOLE, NOCTRAN, STILNOX, TANAKAN, CLARITIN, OROKEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 80 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension, cardiac failure and was treated with Moduretic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, blood potassium increased, blood urea increased, renal failure, sinus bradycardia, sinus tachycardia. Moduretic dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TORSEMIDE, ISOPTIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with MORPHINE SULPHATE, MORPHINE SULPHATE, ALDACTONE, PERINDOPRIL ERBUMINE, DURAGESIC, LANSOPRAZOLE, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
