Modafinil side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Apr 06, 2006. Female patient, 34 years of age, was diagnosed with somnolence and was treated with Modafinil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, anorexia, anxiety , blood potassium decreased, cachexia, condition aggravated, overdose, sleep disorder , speech disorder. Modafinil dosage: 400 MG QD; ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with URBANYL, LORMETAZEPAM, MEPRONIZINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: impulsive behaviour, overdose, somnolence, suicide attempt. Modafinil dosage: 200 MG DIVIDED INTO TWO DOSES ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with DEPAKENE, FLUVOXAMINE MALEATE, LORAZEPAM, MYSLEE, AMOXAN, LOXONIN, LENDORMIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
