Modafinil side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 25, 2008. Male patient, 37 years of age, was treated with Modafinil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , respiratory arrest. Modafinil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with OXYCODONE, OLANZAPINE, METHOCARBAMOL, ZOLPIDEM, ANTIHISTAMINE DECONGESTANT, CITALOPRAM HYDROBROMIDE. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , chills, coma, convulsion, hypertonia, hypothermia , incorrect dose administered, metabolic acidosis, multi-organ failure. Modafinil dosage: 72000 MG ONCE ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ZYPREXA, RIVOTRIL. Patient died on 05/22/2006.

Modafinil dosage: 72000 MG ONCE ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ZYPREXA, RIVOTRIL. Patient died on 05/22/2006.
