Modacin Side Effects Report #4953015-9
Modacin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from JAPAN on Feb 15, 2006. Female patient, 80 years of age, weighting 83.78 lb, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection , influenza, hypertension, angina pectoris, cardiac failure chronic and was treated with Modacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disseminated intravascular coagulation, toxic epidermal necrolysis. Modacin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TAMIFLU, VEGETAMIN A, NORVASC, CALONAL, BUFFERIN, LASIX, ALDACTONE, MICARDIS. Patient died on 02/17/2006.

During the same period patient was treated with TIENAM, PENTCILLIN, CLINDAMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
