Modacin side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Nov 28, 2008. Male patient, 66 years of age, was diagnosed with postoperative fever and was treated with Modacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, ascites, dehydration, diarrhoea, enterocolitis, pseudomembranous colitis, shock. Modacin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with GENTAMICIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agranulocytosis, blood pressure decreased, clostridium colitis, clostridium difficile toxin test, diarrhoea, erythema, induration, neutrophil count decreased.
