Modacin Side Effects Report #5781926-3
Modacin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from JAPAN on June 18, 2008. Male patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia  and was treated with Modacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blister, pyrexia, rash erythematous, skin erosion, toxic epidermal necrolysis. Modacin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TIENAM, PENTCILLIN, CLINDAMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 36 years of age, weighting 138.9 lb, was diagnosed with bacterial infection , diuretic effect, analgesic effect and was treated with Modacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blister, effusion, erythema, excoriation, graft versus host disease, paraesthesia, pyrexia. Modacin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MEROPEN, LASIX, ADONA, TRANSAMIN, OMEPRAL, MORPHINE ELIXIR, AMINO ACID, NEOLAMIN. Patient died on 05/17/2004.
