Female patient, 58 years of age, was diagnosed with insulin-requiring type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Mixtard. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , calciphylaxis, nausea , skin ulcer. Mixtard dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with GLICLAZIDE, METOPROLOL, RAMIPRIL, DIGOXIN, WARFARIN, ATORVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
