Mitoxantrone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from CHINA on Nov 01, 2007. Male patient, 71 years of age, weighting 121.3 lb, was diagnosed with prostate cancer What is  prostate cancer and was treated with Mitoxantrone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: discomfort, neutropenic infection, pulmonary fibrosis What is  pulmonary fibrosis, respiratory failure, white blood cell count decreased. Mitoxantrone dosage: 20 MG Q3W IV. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE. Patient died on 10/28/2007.
