Mitoxantrone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on May 11, 2006. Female patient was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis  and was treated with Mitoxantrone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute myeloid leukaemia, ejection fraction decreased, haemorrhage, neutropenia, respiratory distress, sepsis . Mitoxantrone dosage: 20 MG MONTHLY UNK. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Mitoxantrone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agranulocytosis, bronchial obstruction, leukaemia recurrent, respiratory distress, stenotrophomonas infection. Mitoxantrone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE. Patient died.

Male patient, 43 years of age, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Mitoxantrone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: electrocardiogram qt corrected interval prolonged, haemodynamic instability, respiratory distress, torsade de pointes. Mitoxantrone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ARSENIC TRIOXIDE, IDARUBICIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
