Mitoxantrone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on June 19, 2008. Male patient, 51 years of age, was diagnosed with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis and was treated with Mitoxantrone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute promyelocytic leukaemia, cellulitis , pancytopenia. Mitoxantrone dosage: 12 MG/M2, 1 IN 3 MONTHS. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with AZATHIOPRINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
