Mitoxantrone Side Effects Report #5625226-0
Mitoxantrone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from CHINA on Jan 25, 2008. Male patient, 74 years of age, weighting 119.0 lb, was diagnosed with prostate cancer metastatic and was treated with Mitoxantrone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arrhythmia , atrioventricular block complete, bundle branch block right, cardiac arrest , hypoxia, immunodeficiency, lung infection, lung neoplasm. Mitoxantrone dosage: 18 MG Q3W IV. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE. Patient died on 01/27/2008.

Mitoxantrone side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 06, 2006. Male patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with prostate cancer  and was treated with Mitoxantrone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , acute myeloid leukaemia, blood bilirubin increased, chromosome analysis abnormal, febrile neutropenia, hypotension, hypoxia, lung infiltration, multi-organ failure. Mitoxantrone dosage: 12 MG/M2 Q3W. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, GOSERELIN, BICALUTAMIDE. Patient died.

Mitoxantrone side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 21, 2005. Male patient, 53 years of age, was treated with Mitoxantrone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood iron decreased, bone marrow failure, candidiasis, hypoxia, mucosal inflammation, neutropenia, stomatitis, weight decreased. Mitoxantrone dosage: 10 MG/M2 DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with VINCRISTINE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, PREDNISONE, RITUXIMAB, FOLIC ACID, METOPROLOL, ISOSORBIDE MONONITRATE, AMLODIPINE. Patient recovered.
