Mitoxantrone side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 06, 2006. Male patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with prostate cancer
and was treated with Mitoxantrone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain
, acute myeloid leukaemia, blood bilirubin increased, chromosome analysis abnormal, febrile neutropenia, hypotension, hypoxia, lung infiltration, multi-organ failure. Mitoxantrone dosage: 12 MG/M2 Q3W. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, GOSERELIN, BICALUTAMIDE. Patient died.Mitoxantrone Side Effects Report #5404973-X

Male patient, 67 years of age, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Mitoxantrone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, aspergillosis, cerebral infarction, febrile neutropenia, hypertension, hypotension, lung infection pseudomonal, mucosal inflammation, oedema. Mitoxantrone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE, ETOPOSIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 03/14/2007.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ejection fraction decreased, heart rate increased, hypotension, pericardial effusion. Mitoxantrone dosage: 6 MG/M2 DAY EVERY 12 HOURS IV. Patient died on 05/20/2006.
