Mitoxantrone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on May 30, 2008. Male patient, 69 years of age, weighting 206.8 lb, was diagnosed with prostate cancer What is  prostate cancer and was treated with Mitoxantrone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood homocysteine increased, cerebral infarction, cerebrovascular accident, dysarthria, dysphagia, fatigue, haemoglobin decreased, hypoaesthesia, leukopenia. Mitoxantrone dosage: 12 MG/M2 Q3W - INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, HYDRALAZINE, NYSTATIN, HYDROCORTISONE, VICODIN, OXYCODONE, SENNA, OMEPRAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Mitoxantrone dosage: 12 MG/M2 INTRAVENOUS ; 12 MG/M2 , INTRAVENOUS ; 10 MG/M2 INTRAVENOUS ; 8 MG/M2 INTRAVENOUS ; 8 MG/M2. Patient recovered.
