Mitoxantrone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from CHINA on Feb 21, 2008. Male patient, 74 years of age, weighting 119.0 lb, was diagnosed with prostate cancer metastatic and was treated with Mitoxantrone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, arrhythmia
, aspartate aminotransferase increased, atrioventricular block complete, bilirubin conjugated increased, blood albumin decreased, blood bilirubin increased, bone disorder, bundle branch block right. , acute myeloid leukaemia, blood bilirubin increased, chromosome analysis abnormal, febrile neutropenia, hypotension, hypoxia, lung infiltration, multi-organ failure. Female patient, 53 years of age, weighting 104.7 lb, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia recurrent and was treated with Mitoxantrone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood bilirubin increased. Mitoxantrone dosage: 12 MG IV. During the same period patient was treated with ETOPOSIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
