Mitoxantrone Side Effects Report #4950530-9
Mitoxantrone side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Mar 06, 2006. Female patient, 47 years of age, was diagnosed with secondary progressive multiple sclerosis and was treated with Mitoxantrone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute myeloid leukaemia, acute respiratory failure, amenorrhoea, asthenia, dizziness , haematoma, haemorrhoids, hypotension. Mitoxantrone dosage: 12 MG/M2, ONCE. During the same period patient was treated with AVONEX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute promyelocytic leukaemia, asthenia, haemorrhage, treatment noncompliance, vomiting. Mitoxantrone dosage: 12 MG/M2 MONTHLY. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, b-cell lymphoma stage iv, diabetes mellitus, follicle centre lymphoma diffuse small cell lymphoma, haemoglobin decreased, pyrexia, weight decreased. Mitoxantrone dosage: 8MG/M2, DAY 2 ONLY, IV. During the same period patient was treated with PROCRIT, RED BLOOD CELLS, RITUXIMAB, FLUDARABINE, OXALIPLATIN, DEXAMETHASONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
