Mitomycin Side Effects Report #5553716-8
Mitomycin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Dec 07, 2007. Male patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with pancreatic carcinoma and was treated with Mitomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure acute, pulmonary oedema, thrombocytopenia. Mitomycin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with GEMZAR. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dermatitis, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia. Mitomycin dosage: 10MG/M 2/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with FLUOROURACIL. Patient recovered.
