Mitomycin Side Effects Report #5778765-6
Mitomycin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on July 30, 2007. Female patient, 53 years of age, was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma and was treated with Mitomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, dry mouth, feeling hot, red blood cell count decreased, vaginal mucosal blistering. Mitomycin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with XELODA, FOLIC ACID, VALIUM, VICODIN, AQUAPHOR, MAGIC MOUTHWASH. Patient recovered.

Mitomycin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 03, 2006. Male patient, weighting 161.0 lb, was diagnosed with oesophageal adenocarcinoma and was treated with Mitomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, diarrhoea, febrile neutropenia, hyperbilirubinaemia, malaise, nausea , orthostatic hypotension, peroneal nerve palsy, sepsis . Mitomycin dosage: 3 MG/M2, D1, D8-IVP. During the same period patient was treated with IRINOTECAN, PROSCAR, ATROPINE, DEXAMETHASONE. Patient died on 12/11/2005.
