Misoprostol side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 24, 2006. Female patient, 34 years of age, was diagnosed with abortion  and was treated with Misoprostol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , bacterial infection , endometrial disorder, escherichia infection, haemorrhage, hypotension, inflammation, metabolic acidosis, nausea . Misoprostol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MIFEPRISTONE. Patient died.

Misoprostol side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Apr 12, 2005. Female patient, 21 years of age, was diagnosed with abortion  and was treated with Misoprostol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abortion induced incomplete, acute pulmonary oedema, cardiac failure, inflammation, leukocytosis, malaise, post procedural complication, sepsis . Misoprostol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MIFEPREX. Patient died on 12/29/2003.
