Minoxidil Side Effects Report #5290575-5
Minoxidil side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Apr 05, 2007. Male patient, 65 years of age, weighting 238.1 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Minoxidil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pericardial effusion, pleural effusion, pulmonary congestion, pulmonary vascular disorder. Minoxidil dosage: 2.5 MG PO BID. During the same period patient was treated with TACROLIMUS, PREDNISONE, PRAVASTATIN, CLOPIDOGREL, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, FUROSEMIDE, FLOMAX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
