Minocin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Oct 12, 2005. Female patient, 19 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia mycoplasmal and was treated with Minocin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood immunoglobulin e increased, csf virus identified, depressed level of consciousness, human herpes virus 6 serology positive, hypersensitivity, liver disorder, nuclear magnetic resonance imaging brain abnormal, paresis, polymerase chain reaction. Minocin dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 19 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia mycoplasmal and was treated with Minocin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: encephalitis herpes, hypersensitivity, liver disorder, paresis. Minocin dosage: 200MG DAILY INTRAVENOUS DRIP. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
