Minocin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Oct 28, 2005. Female patient, 31 years of age, was diagnosed with acne  and was treated with Minocin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, bilirubin conjugated increased, blood albumin increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, fatigue, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, hepatotoxicity, jaundice . Minocin dosage: 100MG , ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with POLYTAR, FLUCONAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 16 years of age, weighting 162.1 lb, was diagnosed with acne  and was treated with Minocin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood bilirubin increased, convulsion, hepatic enzyme increased, urticaria. Minocin dosage: 100 MG TWICE DAILY, ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
