Miglitol side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Sept 06, 2006. Female patient, 82 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and was treated with Miglitol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diabetes mellitus inadequate control, feeling abnormal, hyperglycaemia, hyperhidrosis, hypoglycaemia, hyporeflexia, hypotonia, loss of consciousness, pupillary reflex impaired. Miglitol dosage: 150 MG (1 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with GLYBURIDE, MICARDIS, AMLODIPINE, DIART, RIZE, POLYCARBOPHIL CALCIUM, PURSENNID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
