Miglitol side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Dec 28, 2006. Male patient, 36 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and was treated with Miglitol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alcohol use, hepatic enzyme increased, hepatic function abnormal. Miglitol dosage: DAILY DOSE:150MG. During the same period patient was treated with METFORMIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, alcohol use, hepatic function abnormal, malaise. Miglitol dosage: DAILY DOSE:150MG. During the same period patient was treated with GLYCORAN. Patient recovered.
