Miglitol side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Mar 17, 2009. Female patient was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus, diabetic neuropathy, gastritis, dyslipidaemia and was treated with Miglitol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , anorexia. Miglitol dosage: 50 MG, 3X/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with KINEDAK, JUVELA NICOTINATE, PERSANTINE, ACINON, MEVALOTIN, HUMALOG, ACARBOSE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , diarrhoea, oedema, swelling face. Miglitol dosage: 150 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with AMARYL, ACTOS, BEZAFIBRATE. Patient died on 07/01/2006.
