Midazolam side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 27, 2005. Male patient, 72 years of age, weighting 198.0 lb, was diagnosed with sedation and was treated with Midazolam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardio-respiratory arrest, loss of consciousness, post procedural complication, somnolence. Midazolam dosage: 2 MG IV OTO. During the same period patient was treated with FENTANYL, MAGNESIUM, ENOXAPARIN, TOPROL, WARFARIN, ASPIRIN, ZANTAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
