Female patient, 84 years of age, weighting 147.7 lb, was diagnosed with sedation, percutaneous coronary intervention and was treated with Midazolam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, hypotension, mental status changes, respiratory depression, unresponsive to stimuli, ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia. Midazolam dosage: .5 MG, ONCE, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CLOPIDOGREL, DILAUDID, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT. Patient recovered.
