Mexitil side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Jan 12, 2005. Male patient, 67 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetic neuropathy and was treated with Mexitil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dialysis What is  dialysis, hypersensitivity, renal failure acute. Mexitil dosage: 300 MG (100 MG) PO. During the same period patient was treated with EUGLUCON, LIPOVAS, JUVELA NICOTINATE, METHYCOBAL, FAMOTIDINE, POLLAKISU, HARNAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 75 years of age, was diagnosed with arrhythmia What is  arrhythmia and was treated with Mexitil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cytomegalovirus enterocolitis, cytomegalovirus infection What is  cytomegalovirus infection, hepatic function abnormal, human herpesvirus 6 infection, hypersensitivity, lymphadenopathy, pneumonia What is  pneumonia, respiratory failure. Mexitil dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
