Mexitil side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on June 10, 2004. Female patient, weighting 130.1 lb, was diagnosed with pain , cystitis and was treated with Mexitil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatic function abnormal, pyrexia, rash . Mexitil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CRAVIT, TEGRETOL, LOXONIN, METHCOBAL, MUCOSTA, LENDORMIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, hepatic function abnormal, rash , renal impairment, skin test positive. Mexitil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TEGRETOL, GOSHA, CYANOCOBALAMIN, ANAFRANIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cytomegalovirus enterocolitis, cytomegalovirus infection , hepatic function abnormal, human herpesvirus 6 infection, hypersensitivity, lymphadenopathy, pneumonia , respiratory failure. Mexitil dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN, ASPIRIN, DIART, CARVEDILOL, MICARDIS, LENDORMIN, PLAVIX, ALDACTONE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with RABEPRAZOLE, WARFARIN, ASPIRIN, DIART, CARVEDILOL, MICARDIS, LENDORMIN, PLAVIX. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
