Mexitil side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on June 23, 2006. Male patient, 75 years of age, was diagnosed with arrhythmia  and was treated with Mexitil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cytomegalovirus enterocolitis, cytomegalovirus infection , hepatic function abnormal, human herpesvirus 6 infection, hypersensitivity, lymphadenopathy, pneumonia , respiratory failure. Mexitil dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
