Mevalotin Side Effects Report #4627793-2
Mevalotin side effect was reported by a Physician from on Feb 10, 2005. Male patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperlipidaemia, hypertension, gastric ulcer, constipation  and was treated with Mevalotin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disseminated intravascular coagulation, gastroenteritis , hepatic function abnormal, infection , renal impairment, rhabdomyolysis. Mevalotin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CALSLOT, DOGMATYL, FAMOTIDINE, OXATOMIDE, ULGUT, PROMAC, ALOSENN, MAGNESIUM OXIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Mevalotin side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Nov 18, 2005. Female patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperlipidaemia, hypertension, diabetes mellitus and was treated with Mevalotin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure, cerebral infarction, disseminated intravascular coagulation. Mevalotin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NILDILART, GLYBURIDE, BASEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 11/24/2005.

Female patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperlipidaemia, hypertension, diabetes mellitus and was treated with Mevalotin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, cerebral infarction, disseminated intravascular coagulation, myocardial ischaemia. Mevalotin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NILDILART, DAONIL, BASEN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient died on 11/24/2005.
