Mevacor side effect was reported by a Physician from SINGAPORE on Mar 05, 2009. Female patient, 16 years of age, was diagnosed with hypercholesterolaemia and was treated with Mevacor. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, myopathy, nephrosclerosis, renal failure chronic, rhabdomyolysis. Mevacor dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ATORVASTATIN. Patient recovered.
