Mevacor side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on May 03, 2007. Male patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with hypercholesterolaemia and was treated with Mevacor. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: back pain What is  back pain, blood cholesterol increased, muscle spasms, neck pain, stevens-johnson syndrome. Mevacor dosage: 20 MG/DAILY/PO 40 MG/DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with DISALCID, FLEXERIL, MOTRIN, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Mevacor side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Mar 02, 2009. Female patient, 75 years of age, weighting 183.0 lb, was treated with Mevacor. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, anxiety What is  anxiety, aspartate aminotransferase increased, back pain What is  back pain, rhabdomyolysis, weight decreased. Mevacor dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DILTIAZEM HYDROCHLORIDE, GLIMEPIRIDE, LEVOTHYROXINE, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, METOCLOPRAMIDE, ALENDRONATE, ESOMEPRAZOLE, TIOTROPIUM BROMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
