Metronidazole side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on May 17, 2007. Female patient, 62 years of age, was diagnosed with tooth abscess and was treated with Metronidazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: lip swelling, pruritus, rash , urine colour abnormal. Metronidazole dosage: 200 MG, TID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with AMITRIPTYLINE, AMOXICILLIN, MELOXICAM, NEOCLARITYN, ACETAMINOPHEN, QUININE SULPHATE. Patient recovered.
