Metopirone side effect was reported by a Physician from BELGIUM on July 30, 2007. Male patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with carcinoid syndrome and was treated with Metopirone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatitis toxic. Metopirone dosage: 3 X 2 250 MG TABLETS/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with NIZORAL, DURAGESIC, MS CONTIN, HALDOL, COMBURIC, SPIRONOLACTONE, INSULIN RETARD LEO, HYDROCORTISONE. Patient recovered.
