Metopirone side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Nov 29, 2007. Female patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with pituitary-dependent cushing's syndrome, nephrogenic diabetes insipidus and was treated with Metopirone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood corticotrophin decreased, blood cortisol decreased. Metopirone dosage: 750MG/D. During the same period patient was treated with DEPAKENE, SERENACE, AKINETON, TRICHLORMETHIAZIDE. Patient recovered.
