Metolazone side effect was reported by a Physician from on Jan 25, 2005. Male patient, 52 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Metolazone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, blood glucose increased, cardiac failure congestive, dizziness What is  dizziness, dyspnoea exertional, electrocardiogram abnormal, myocardial infarction, oedema peripheral, orthopnoea. Metolazone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MICARDIS, COZAAR, LASIX, VERAPAMIL, METOPROLOL TARTRATE, GLIPIZIDE, INSULIN, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with cardiac failure congestive, hypertension and was treated with Metolazone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypokalaemia, hypotension, oedema peripheral, renal failure chronic. Metolazone dosage: 2.5 MG EVERY DAY PO. Patient recovered.
