Metolazone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Nov 20, 2007. Male patient, 84 years of age, was diagnosed with oedema and was treated with Metolazone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose increased, constipation , contusion, dehydration, dizziness , fall , headache , loss of consciousness, nausea . Metolazone dosage: 2.5 MG; EVERY OTHER DAY; ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with AMARYL, AMLODIPINE, LEVOXYL, DIOVAN, FUROSEMIDE, TOPROL, DIGOXIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, fall . Metolazone dosage: 2.5MG PO ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with TUSSTROL, BICARB, METROPROLOL, LASIX, LIPITOR, LISINOPRIL, NORVASC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
