Male patient, 67 years of age, weighting 230.0 lb, was diagnosed with oedema peripheral and was treated with Metolazone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, asthenia, blood sodium decreased, disorientation, dyspepsia, nausea , urine output decreased. Metolazone dosage: 2.5 MG;EVERY OTHER DAY;ORAL;5 MG;X1;ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
