Methylphenidate side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on June 22, 2005. Male patient, child 9 years of age, was diagnosed with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder and was treated with Methylphenidate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dystonia What is  dystonia, musculoskeletal stiffness, opisthotonus, psychotic disorder What is  psychotic disorder. Methylphenidate dosage: 15 MG, TID. During the same period patient was treated with RISPERIDONE, CLONIDINE, VALPROIC ACID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
