Methylphenidate side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Apr 16, 2008. Female patient, 62 years of age, was diagnosed with major depression and was treated with Methylphenidate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood pressure increased, heart rate increased, hyperhidrosis, hyperreflexia, muscle rigidity, mydriasis, pyrexia. Methylphenidate dosage: 10 MG, UNK. During the same period patient was treated with PAROXETINE, MILNACIPRAN, AMOXAPINE, SERTRALINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
