Methylphenidate side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Mar 11, 2005. Male patient, 72 years of age, weighting 281.3 lb, was diagnosed with depression  and was treated with Methylphenidate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: delirium, hallucination. Methylphenidate dosage: 5 MG PO BID. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, ATENOLOL, METOLAZONE, SIMVASTATIN, LORATADINE, CALCIUM CARBONATE, DOCUSATE NA, FUROSEMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
