Methylergonovine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from TAIWAN, PROVINCE OF CHINA on Nov 10, 2005. Female patient, 38 years of age, was diagnosed with post abortion haemorrhage, hypertension and was treated with Methylergonovine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, chest pain What is  chest pain, depressed level of consciousness, myocardial infarction. Methylergonovine dosage: 0.2 MG, UNK. During the same period patient was treated with OXYTOCIN, DIOVANE, ISOPTIN. Patient died.

Male patient, 54 years of age, was diagnosed with cluster headache and was treated with Methylergonovine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angiogram, blood pressure increased, chest pain What is  chest pain, cluster headache, coronary artery bypass What is  coronary artery bypass, myocardial infarction. Methylergonovine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SUMATRIPTAN SUCCINATE, SUMATRIPTAN SUCCINATE, VERAPAMIL, LITHIUM CARBONATE, TOPIRAMATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
