Methylene Side Effects Report #6003707-8
Methylene side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Dec 03, 2008. Female patient, 44 years of age, was diagnosed with preoperative care, scan parathyroid and was treated with Methylene. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood phosphorus increased, incoherent, inflammation, mydriasis, pupillary reflex impaired, serotonin syndrome, white blood cell count increased. Methylene dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METHYLENE BLUE, CITALOPRAM, ASPIRIN, ATENOLOL, BENDROFLUMETHIAZIDE, DEXAMETHASONE, FELODIPINE, ISOSORBIDE MONONITRATE. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 61 years of age, weighting 165.3 lb, was diagnosed with parathyroid tumour and was treated with Methylene. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral disorder, clonus, coma, convulsion, hypertonia, serotonin syndrome. Methylene dosage: 7.5 MG FREQ IV. During the same period patient was treated with ANASTROZOLE, CLOMIPRAMINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
