Methylene side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on July 25, 2006. Female patient, 52 years of age, weighting 191.6 lb, was diagnosed with parathyroidectomy and was treated with Methylene. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aphasia , blood calcium decreased, blood glucose increased, confusional state, delayed recovery from anaesthesia, nystagmus, white blood cell count increased. Methylene dosage: 7.5 MG/KG. During the same period patient was treated with MEBEVERINE, VENLAFAXINE, FERROUS SULPHATE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aphasia , confusional state, encephalopathy, lethargy, post procedural complication, vertigo. Methylene dosage: 5 MG/KG IV. During the same period patient was treated with DOLASETRON, FENTANYL, GLYCOPYRROLATE, KETOROLAC TROMETHAMINE, MIDAZOLAM, MIVACURIUM, PROPOFOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
