Methyldopa side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on July 26, 2007. Female patient, 24 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Methyldopa. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abortion induced, blood pressure inadequately controlled, hellp syndrome, left ventricular hypertrophy, multi-organ disorder, oedema peripheral, oliguria, renal artery stenosis. Methyldopa dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LABETALOL, HYDRALAZINE, NIFEDIPINE. Patient recovered.
