Methyldopa side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Feb 10, 2009. Male patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Methyldopa. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, dialysis What is  dialysis, gastric cancer, malaise. Methyldopa dosage: 250 MG PO. During the same period patient was treated with NIFEDIPINE, CANDESARTAN CILEXETIL, DIGESTIVE MEDICINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 33 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Methyldopa. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abortion induced, anaemia, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood pressure fluctuation, caesarean section, disease progression, disease recurrence. Methyldopa dosage: 1000 MG PO. During the same period patient was treated with CLOPAMIDE, FUROSEMIDE, METHYLPREDNISONE SUCCINATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
