Methylcellulose side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on July 28, 2006. Female patient, 75 years of age, was diagnosed with gastrointestinal disorder and was treated with Methylcellulose. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , diverticulum, flatulence, infection , large intestinal haemorrhage, myocardial infarction. Methylcellulose dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with THYROXINE, LISINOPRIL, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, CALCIUM CARBONATE, ASPIRIN, ALENDRONATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
